ASPIRA AmeriCorps Project (ASPIRACorps)

The primary goal of the ASPIRACorps project is to provide tutoring and mentoring to Latino/a English Language Learners in middle-schools, who are at risk of falling further behind and dropping out of school due to poor English literacy. The project’s secondary goal is to provide Latino young adults enrolled as ASPIRACorps (AmeriCorps) members with opportunities to build self-confidence, educational competencies, and leadership skills to prepare them to succeed in college.
